One Bad Apple

OK, for those few friends that like to check in on my blog and give me a hard time for not blogging(Beverly and Marcey), I have had my computer in for repair. First the logic board had to be replaced, again for the 2nd time. The Apple Store got it fixed in less than 24 hours. I was so excited. So I raced to Penn Square to pick it up. Not to much time was lost on my work. Not getting very far behind. However, now the wireless internet will not work. After 45 minutes on the phone with Apple Care, they told me I would have to go back to the Apple Store to see if they can fix it. Great. Now I am really getting behind. Back to Penn S. Leaving my Mac again, waiting for the part to come in to fix the wireless connection problem. Gene was giving the "Genius" at the Genius Bar a hard time about the problems I am having with this computer. I think the guy put a big red note on my work order "fix this one last". So, still no computer and I am really behind. Sorry, no picture. They are all on my Mac.

Alix

This post is long over due. Alix, her mom and I went out for this session and had a blast. Things got a little crazy and we got some great shots. Alix is beautiful and her personality matches. My next post of her session will be in color so that her gorgeous red hair can be seen. By the way, did you guess that she is the one in my title image?

The I's have it!

Yes, he was a busy little guy. No way was he going to give me any kind of eye contact. However, I was able to catch him off guard. And was it ever worth it. How adorable are those eyes? Mom and Dad, thanks for coming to my backyard to play.

Little Mr. D

Can you believe this, Tammy? Almost 2 years ago (at 7:00 am I should add) I was at the hospital with camera in hand documenting every minute of this child's birth. What an amazing day! Now look at him! Thank you for letting me be a part of your families lives. From the very first family photo session in my backyard to the many events from that point on and many more to come, it has been awesome.
Enjoy!

Blair and Ronnie

It's been a while since I have been on. Things are getting really busy around here. I had a garage sale and it put me back about a week. I have a lot of catching up to do. My apologies to the ones waiting for the little peak from their session. For some reason, the images are loading very slow or not at all. So Blair and Ronnie, here is one for you. You will have to come over to see the rest. Bring Cash if you want. Hee Hee Hee, that's the name of Blair's wiener dog. Cash and Titus have so much fun together. They look like bros.

Happy Birthday!

She's here!!! Today is the birthday. She is so beautiful! Remember the maternity session a few weeks ago? Mom and Dad are doing good. Both extremely tired. Baby sleeping well. Labor started yesterday. I'm sure Mom feels like she just finished a 72 hr. shift.

Congratulations Ashley and John. Remember, if  you need anything, great Auntie Marla is just a few minutes away.

Senior

I'm back. My apologies to those who like to check in. I've been working. Yea!! Take a look. Isn't he a handsome Sr. I remember when he was in the 5th grade. Wow, do they grow up fast.  Mary S, this is for you. Take it all in because you know it will all be  over in a flash.

Sometimes it's hard to get the guys to smile. So when I get them to laugh,
I love to capture them being natural.

The Big Red Truck! What did you drive when you were a Sr?
I drove a moss green Chevy shortbed with curtains in the back window.
It had Mag wheels and wide tires.Woo Hoo! Didn't run all that great.:(
OK, so I'm aging myself. It was the in thing to do.

What do you suppose is on his mind?
This shot was toward the end of the session. I can probably guess.
Thanks Mary and Jeff! It was great fun!

It's about time.

"Time". This word can be taken many different ways. So Mary, these are for you. You've been waiting a long time for me to have a session with your family. It took some time for us to get a time that worked for both of us. It took some time to get these ready for posting because there is not enough time in the day to fit everything in. Anyway, I had a great time with your family. I hope you did too. Enjoy! ( Maybe I neeed to check into Time Mngt. classes).

It's amazing how our kids cooperate when Mom is not behind the camera.

When Momma is happy, everyone is happy. Right Mary?

Mary's famous word..."smokin"

These images are way to small. I have got to work on that. This blog is about to get the best of me.

Due Soon!

Did I have fun today! This is my niece and her husband. They are expecting a baby girl very soon (remember the baby shower).  We had a great photo session with many great images from which to choose. I really had a difficult time choosing one. So Ashley and John, enjoy! Can't wait to show you the rest of them.

Got the Message

I heard you "growin' with it". I will do better, really. I've got to work on the time management thing. I don't have any pictures to go with this post so I will show what the boys are up to now-a-days. What? Did I her you say "Where are their helmets and I hope that there is a good insurance policy and prayer life going on?!"

Our Staycation

Ok, I've got to get the hang of this. Maybe when the boys go back to school, (Thurs., yea!) I can get the computer back. However, I will say we were on "staycation" and I did not bring my "desk top" with me. So, I'll try to catch up now that I have to get back to reality. We went to Pops in Arcadia. Did you guess? We only had to wait 30 min. I here that is a short wait. We may have to go back at night sometime to see the pop bottle lit up. We then drove to the round red barn. Can't go that far and not see the round red barn! While we were there, we took a tour of Arcadia. We looked left then right and we were done. Amazing little town. Enjoy our staycation pics.

The boys got to pick from the many flavors and brands of pop. Cory picked his by the uniqueness of the bottle. Jarrett picked his by flavor. Orange Crush was his favorite. Of all the flavors and brands from which to pick, something as common as OC.

This old building is what we saw when we looked left. This was the beginning of Main Street. The house next to it was the end. heehee  No, just kidding.

The Baby Shower

We had a baby shower for my niece on Sunday. Do those cookies look yummy or what? And that cake, it was amaaazing! The wire topper was so unique. At the end of each wire  was a cute little bobble. (Did I just say bobble?) I love this one with the tiny feet. Amy, you did a fantastic job getting all of this together.

Are these sisters beautiful or what? The two younger ones are looking forward to being an aunt. And Mom of all 3 cannot wait to be "Nana".

The blankie matches the baby's nursery, which, I might add, is adorable. Be watching for more of this story. I'll be following it closely.

Beat the Heat

Remember this? Think... cold, wet, freezing rain, snow, ice... is it helping? We were so tired of the cold and ice. Well, It's hot here and I could use some of that cold again. Record breaking temps and a "cold" front that may bring temps down in the 90's. hmm
